Culture night “Let There Be Night!”

Culture night “Let There Be Night!” invited everybody to spend a sleepless night from 19th to 20th of June. Over than 80 free events helped visitors fight drowsiness. The same as every year there were classical and contemporary music concerts, movies, open air dance lessons, performances, arts workshops, museums and galleries open with special programs. 

The walls of the old town were filled with video projections accompanied by electronic music, halls and squares will be flooded with piano classics. Among the others the Early dance and music group "Banchetto Musicale" participated in the educational project "Chimes of culture era's" organised by the Palace of the Grand Duces of Lithuania. Visitors admired gracious dances of XVI and XVII centuries and had an oportunity to learn some of them.
